Megan Ferrel's Admissions Chats

Hello! My name is Megan, and I am an Admissions Counselor at Lake Forest College. I am excited to “meet” you! I am here to be a resource for you and help you learn more about Lake Forest College. If you attend high school in the following domestic or international states/territories, treat me as your first point of contact with the College and register for a chat with me below: 

• United States First Year Students from: Chicago Public Schools in Illinois

• International First Year Students from: Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe   

• Transfer Students from: City Colleges of Chicago, Arrupe College, and McHenry Community College 

First Year and Transfer Students: Virtual Chats with Megan

• This time can be used either for an informal information gathering chat to ask me questions about credits that will transfer, your major, the College in general, or we can conduct your admissions interview. Parents and other family members are welcome to attend. Once you register for a chat with me, you will get an email with access to the Microsoft Teams virtual link where our chat will take place.   

First Year and Transfer Students: In Person Coffee Chats with Megan during Summer 2025!

• Similar to virtual chats, a time to connect with Megan and a time to get a coffee (or beverage of your choice) on us and learn more about Lake Forest College!
• In person coffee chats will be offered in the City of Chicago for first year and transfer students on Thursday, June 12; Tuesday, June 24; Tuesday, July 7; Wednesday, July 30; Tuesday, August 5; Wednesday, August 13.
• In person coffee chats will be offered in Crystal Lake for McHenry County College transfer students on: Wednesday, June 11; Wednesday, July 23; Tuesday, August 5.
