This Lake Forest Transfer Scholarship recognizes a CLC Scholars student with demonstrated intellectual excellence and future academic promise who would like to earn their Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Forest College. The scholarship provides full tuition for two years.

1. Applicants must be a member of the CLC Scholars program at the College of Lake County and have a minimum 3.25 GPA from CLC at the time of application, and maintain that GPA through graduation from CLC.

2. Inform Dr. Nick Schevera of your interest and to get a letter of recommendation from him for this scholarship application. Please note that you can use his recommendation for both the regular transfer application and this application if you so choose.

3. Applicants should complete an admission application using either the Lake Forest College Transfer Application or the Transfer Common Application. This includes having all materials submitted and completing your admission interview. Both the regular application and this application must be completed no later than March 15, 2024.

4. Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Undocumented students do not need to complete the FAFSA.

5. Applicants will be invited to visit Lake Forest College for a visit and scholarship interview. The scholarship award recipient will be announced no later than April 1, 2024.

The recipient of the Lake Forest Full-Tuition Transfer Scholarship award will be selected by a joint Lake Forest College and College of Lake County selection committee.
