A visiting auditing student is a non-degree seeking student who wants to enroll in Lake Forest College courses but will not receive academic credit.

Individuals who have not completed a bachelor’s degree, may not complete more than eight (8) credits as a visiting student. Individuals that have completed a bachelor’s degree are not limited in the number of courses they may pursue as a visiting student. Visiting students are not eligible for financial aid.

Please note:

·       Lake Forest College requires official transcripts from high school (if the individual has not completed an undergraduate degree) and for any college coursework completed in order to be accepted as a visiting student. Transcripts should be submitted via email to the Admissions Office at admissions@lakeforest.edu.

·       The College also requires an informal interview which can be either in-person or virtual.

·       Applicants are notified of admission status once their file is complete.
